Instructor Profile
Melvin Wong is the founder of Ztamp and has spent over 7 years in the Web3 space. He is a two-time blockchain grant recipient and received a total of six grants throughout his career. He created eight blockchain decentralized applications that worked on 24 blockchains. He’s a full-stack entrepreneur with 19 years of experience and two acquisitions.
He was a speaker at Global Entrepreneurship Summit, DFS Expo, Venture Frontier Lanka, Pandemic Proof Summit and the recent Korea Blockchain Week (Sept 2023). Humbled by numerous international awards while cursed with a winning mentality by winning six hackathons – four of these were in Web3.
He did his share of mentoring with The South Bay Entrepreneurial Center in Los Angeles and AngelHack. He was a 3-time mentor for Developers’ Day hackathon with AT&T (U.S) in Malaysia (2013, 2014, 2015). Was also a mentor at AngelHack hackathon in Los Angeles in 2016.
